In Denmark and the rest of Europe, there is a growing need for democratic engagement, innovation, and resilience. Through the Academy’s community, we help ensure better conditions for society’s collective capacity for action and new shared solutions.
Together, the Academy’s 90 members have made their mark on several major issues in the 2025/26 academic year, including the welfare society of the future and the local green transition.
We have established the framework for a national strategy for social innovation and formed strong partnerships such as Forandringskraft and the Future Coalition.
We have invested in the ecosystem through the Social Capital Fund
We have strengthened the capacity for social innovation throughout the country through dozens of presentations, workshops, and master classes.
And we’ve put Denmark’s capacity for social innovation on the European map through our EU collaboration and brought international knowledge and inspiration back home.
